Remember the Good Ol' Days?

Remember the Good Ol' Days? - JMC FriendsYes, the good ol' days, whenever that was. For me, technology has usually defined "good."
In the late 1980s and early 1990s, I was experimenting with the new capabilities of computers, especially Macintosh. I can remember day after day being astounded by seeing what they could do.
Does anyone remember those hypercard quizzes I created? I still have them, but don't use them. It turned out they had the lifespan of unprocessed meat.
But, oh, the initial thrill of seeing them sizzle in class!

The good ol' days were when you were blazing at 6bits, having upgraded from the Atari - when computers turned on when you hit "start", when Microsoft was still the evil empire, and when "Red Baron" and "Pitfall" were new games.

Hey, I went back to grad school at JMC when I was in my 40s...and it wasn't that long ago...though I guess I was a little skinnier then, so maybe it was the good ol' days.
